Directed by Peter Hunt (1969)
A new Bond (literally) with George Lazenby
Bad acting right from the start. They must bargain shop for the henchmen because these guys can't act their way out of a paper bag. The fight choreophraphy is pretty bad as well, a lot of quick pans and shaky camera type stuff.Of course the bad guys seem to know all about Secret Agent 007. They should call him PUBLIC agent, everybody knows who he is!
Early on a crime boss offers Bond a million £ of gold to marry his daughter, because "she needs a good man to make lots of love to her."
Not a bad deal if you ask me! Sadly at some point Bond slaps her around a bit, I guess that was still cool in 1969. I sure hope he gives up this habit in later episodes.
Of course she drives a cool car...

Bond ends up falling in love, beds multiple women on the same night, then ends up marrying. Wait, James Bond marries??? Well you know this can't last, as his bride is gunned down minutes after saying "I do". Bond is a single man again.
I had my doubts about Geroge Lazenby, but I enjoyed the movie. He played Bond very well.
I rate it
